Trip
description
You
MUST bring a LIFE
PRESERVER or you WILL get
fined. Life preserver doesn't have to be worn, it
can be attached to your tube/floataion device.
The last few trips consisted
of about 50 people (plus a few dogs) floating down the Delaware
River in inner tubes, rafts, canoes and floating lawn chairs.
It's a slow leisurely float down stream with the crowd scattered
in groups all along the river. People float from group to group.
The bevies float downstream in their own 'BEER BARGE".
We stop on the river bank for lunch then proceed to the take
out point, which is an old bridge trestle. While we wait for
the others to converge, ya can take the optional 30-40 plunge
of off the trestle. You then have the option to go to the "Log
Cabin" a local bar/restaurant for Pizzas & pitchers
of beer.Check out Weather below.
